Woman demands answers after giving birth to ‘decapitated’ baby


    A young mother from Boksburg is looking for answers after her baby was born in three separate parts.

    A 19-year-old Kagiso Kgatla who delivered a ”decapitated” baby accuse Tambo Memorial Hospital in Boksburg of medical negligence and she is planning to sue the Gauteng Department of health.

    It reported that the woman had suffered from abdominal pain for a few weeks before she went into labour. The woman was 6 months pregnant at the time.

    She then went to a general practitioner‚ who found that something was wrong with the baby and suggested she go to the hospital for further assessment.

    The woman said the doctors had informed her the baby had some abnormalities.

    But she was prepared for bringing up a child with difficulties.
