SANDF confirms four cases of COVID-19

    The surgeon general of the SANDF says three of the cases are from the Western Cape and one is in Gauteng.

    CAPE TOWN – Four positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed within the South African National Defence Force community.

    The surgeon general of the SANDF, Lieutenant-General Zola Dabula, says three of the cases are from the Western Cape and one is in Gauteng.

    According to a statement, none of the cases involves uniformed members or members who’ve been deployed to support the police.

    The defence force said it’s also identified quarantine and isolation facilities for the military community.
