Government empower the youth of Diepsloot


On the 02 April, Gauteng Economic development together with Tshepho 1 Million and Gauteng Enterprise Propeller were in Diepsloot Extension 7 to empower the youth.

The aim of the workshop was to empower youth to create job opportunities for themselves by starting businesses that are in line with their skills. The provided them with many ideas like to open a business of “washing sneakers for the community”.

Tshepo 1 million helped the youth to apply for different opportunities they have such as skills and development, K53, Entrepreneurship,learnership, internship etc. They are looking for youth between the age of 18-35 years.

One of the youth, Neo said that the workshop was very informative and has learnt a lot from it.

” I wish these kinds of workshop could be hosted in different townships to inform our youth about the opportunities that are available”
