Fuel price hikes set to hit pockets again

Minister of Department of Energy Jeff Radebe has announced the adjustment of fuel prices for April 2019, with motorists to be hit hard.

The prices will come into effect as from Wednesday the 3rd of April.

The price of petrol will increase by up to R1.34 per litre, while diesel will go up by between 81.

The new petrol price increases come into effect as South African residents brace themselves to deal with an over 9% increase in electricity, which comes into effect from the 1st of April.
