Cosmo Invaders is a registered Non Profit Organization based in Cosmo City, and they are also known as the Gods of The North targeting Olivenhoutbosch, Video, Mooiplaas and Thabo Mbeki. They plan and organize different youth development projects with the aim of impacting on the lives of young girls in all regions of the city of Johannesburg. Cosmo Invaders have partnered with the VW Family which assist in making their projects and events a success. They have multiple programmes under their initiative such as food parcels, Health & wellness etc.

On the 17th of August 2019, they continued to celebrates woman’s Month in style with Gods of the North as they embarked on a project of donating 100 sanitary pads to the young girls aged 12-16 at Zikhuliseni Centre. The youth of Diepsloot responded positively because they are very keen to participate in different educational projects and programmes. This project has been inspired by the challenges faced by young girls in the community. Most of them are orphans therefore they cannot afford sanitary pads, which can lead them losing self esteem or being absent from school. The vision of this project is to support youth in schools mainly girls to feel good and confidence about themselves when they experience menstrual circle. Township News has interacted with the Event Organizers Ephraim and Precious who said, “The bigger vision for their organisation is to expand to other townships starting on 31 August they will be in Braakpan, September in Nigel and in October in Mpumalanga (Embalenhle a Small township in the Govan Mbeki Municipality)”.
