Bafana Bafana qualify for Afcon 2019

    Bafana Bafana will be heading off to Egypt this year, after successfully booking their spot in the 2019 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations competition. They beat Libya 2-1 in a tense qualifier in Tunisia.

    Stuart Baxter’s men finished second in Group E and qualify for the tournament along with Nigeria

    A brace from Percy Tau, coupled with goalkeeper Darren Keet’s heroics, had the nation in ecstasy, and fans flocked to social media to show their happiness and appreciation for the national team.

    South Africa join hosts Egypt and 22 other nations for the biannual tournament due to be played in June.
